The start of 2022’s business year has been a month of giving so far and living the mantra “teamwork makes the dream work”!

Being part of a not-for-profit Networking Group is an incredibly special and rewarding experience. Together we achieve far greater results for our community, and we get to do business in a much more sustainable and charitable manner. Giving and kindness are what make our group so special. The rewards speak for themselves as you can see from the pictures below which will be far reaching, way beyond the first step of the actual gift. I am proud to be part of such a fantastic group.

The Jordan Legacy

The Jordan Legacy

It was an absolute honour and pleasure to be able to meet Steve Phillip and understand more about The Jordan Legacy CIC, an inspirational and much needed charity set up to help those facing mental health challenges and to help with suicide prevention.

The Jordan Legacy is a charity set up specifically aimed at benefiting the general public and those more directly impacted by mental health challenges and suicide. The goal of the charity is to help as many people as possible to make a different choice than the one that Steve’s son, Jordan, felt he had to make on that tragic day back in December 2019.

Thank you to Steve for sharing your story with us all, you are a true inspiration for change and hope.

At TRUST Networking the group made a £1,000 donation to The Jordan Legacy CIC. More than ever, it made us feel proud to be part of this amazing networking group which gives back to our community.

Wetherby & District Foodbank

Wetherby foodbank Trust Networking

Very proud to have delivered our second charitable contribution from our 2021 – 2022 financial year donations as part of the not-for-profit TRUST Networking group.

We donated 605 kilos of food! Take a look at our team in action collecting supplies in Aldi and then delivering to the Wetherby and District Foodbank.

Running round Aldi Wetherby store made me fully appreciate what it must feel like to be on Supermarket Sweep with Rylan 🤣!

Men’s Shed, Harrogate

Mens Shed donation

It was great to hear about our third annual donation group – the Harlow Hill ‘Shedders’ based in Harrogate. This men’s group is open to new members and aims to boost mental health and tackle loneliness in the area. John Hart, the Chairman of Harlow Hill Men’s Shed said “what has become apparent since Covid is with men in particular and mental health issues, we don’t talk much until we commit suicide. We need to do something to try and prevent it.” A variety of activities is offered at the Men’s shed such as rambling and computer literacy as well as practical projects. John said “tell your dad, uncle or the bloke down the pub, let’s have a go”
